A practical manufacturer-first checklist for preparing products, customers, tax data, invoice workflows, and validation evidence before MyInvois go-live.
Why manufacturers need a workflow view
LHDN e-Invoice readiness is not only a finance configuration task. Manufacturing invoices often depend on customer master data, product tax treatment, shipment timing, credit terms, SST settings, and approval status.
The safer approach is to test the full operational path: quotation, sales order, delivery, invoice, e-Invoice validation, payment, credit note, and audit export.
Data to clean before implementation
- Customer legal names, addresses, ID types, registration numbers, and TIN values.
- Product and service tax treatment, classification, unit of measure, and pricing rules.
- Invoice numbering, credit note numbering, cancellation rules, and approval authority.
- Company profile, branch details, SST registration, and finance contacts.
- Integration credentials, certificate handling, and sandbox/live separation.
What to test before live submission
Run a disposable UAT tenant with realistic customers and products. Submit sandbox examples for normal invoice, consolidated invoice, credit note, cancellation, and rejection handling. Record the exact evidence: payload, response, timestamp, user, invoice status, and rollback path.
